Quote of the Day: Time to Grow Up

I always thought that when I grew up, I'd have everything figured out. That I would know what I wanted and who I was. That I would have answers instead of endless questions...

But, alas, growing up is not that easy. As soon as you think you have things figured out, you realize you don't have a clue what you're doing. And it's so easy to fall into mundane patterns, do what's expected of you and try to please everyone else.

To be the person I want to be, the person I really am, I know that I have to challenge myself. So, this quote is for me for all the times I am afraid to try something, when I hesitate or want to run when things get tough...

What is Wonderlust?

So, I called this blog "Wonderlust" because I wanted to describe an idea of searching out the beauty & wonder in life. I wanted my blog to focus on the seeking out all the good that is out there.
I have some ideas for things I want to share and projects I'm wanting to try.  I'm not sure how it's going to go, but I'm excited to get started.

Brand New Blog

So, I've wanted to start a blog for a long time. But there are so many great blogs out there...I wondered what I could possibly have to add? Would anyone even want to read my blog?

I finally decided I didn't care. I am starting this for myself. Hopefully someday, someone out there might want to read it, but for now, I just want a place where I can record my thoughts and passions. I want to be able to present and record the things I have on my mind, the things I love, and reflect on the world around me. And maybe someday, someone might enjoy what I've shared.

So here it goes... wish me luck...
